Yet my 3 year old is able to unlock it sometimes. I have no idea how.

Also, I passed a car hauler after work, pulled over on the side of the road. The back car hanging off of it was a decent looking W116 Mercedes in a faded red - US bumpers. The only badge on the trunk said 6.9....

$8900 is a steal for that car. BAT gets a lot of heat for some of the CP prices, but there are often deals.

W109 300SEL 3.5, with a busted self leveling suspension. That would explain the rear end sag.

It has been driven to the moon, and has a leaky suspension. But I agree that was a nice deal and there absolutely some good deals on BaT.

Generally it’s for cars like this - nice drivers that have some big strike against their investment potential.

Unfortunately it’s probably been towed by now. That’s Magnolia 2 blocks north of Foster near where I was working that week. It’s a nice car but Mercs aren’t really my bag. I’m still loving my Jaguar at the moment.

OK, yeah, I figured it was on the north side somewhere from the houses and traffic circle.

Not my dream car either, but it’s very cool to find a 45-50 year old, long wheelbase Mercedes with a V8 engine and air suspension, and between the collapsed suspension and parking ticket, it looks like it might be a headache for the current owner.

I think about what the power must be like with an engine that big and then look at the performance figures of the W126 560SEL that I still lust after. You know what? Performance is nearly identical. I think I'll stick to my plan of getting the W126.

I have to constantly enter the passcode to unlock mine and it’s driving me crazy. But it’s not the phone’s fault - my fingerprints have essentially disappeared, and every time I redo them on the phone they change again. I couldn’t even clo ck i n at work and had to get them to reprogram the timeclock for me.

That big 6.9 was rated at something like 250 HP in a 4300 lb car.

It was quick by malaise era standards, but is really slow compared to anything similar now.

It was choked with smog equipment, and I’m sure you could get a lot more power out of it with some work if you put some effort into it.
